About Us

Founded in 2011 and located in Angleton, Texas by Brad Hoover, Bradley W. Hoover PC has a passion for helping our clients favorably solve and resolve their legal problems, whether simple or highly complex.

Our clients come from all over Brazoria County and surrounding areas, including Harris, Fort Bend, Galveston, Matagorda, and Montgomery Counties.

We believe in getting to know our clients, learning their story, and most importantly, taking the time to fully know and understand the facts and law needed to resolve their legal matters effectively and favorably.

Having practiced law in some of the largest law firms in the world, our team, though small today, is dedicated to providing the same quality legal representation that you would find at large firms, minus the big-firm price.

Our Team

Bradley W. Hoover

Lead Attorney

Brad graduated from Texas Tech University, summa cum laude, with Honors in 1985. He attended the University of Texas School of Law where he also graduated with Honors in 1988. After law school, he began his practice at the Chicago based international law firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt (now Mayer LLP).

In 1994, Brad started his own law firm, which he operated until being asked to join Nickens, Keeton, Lawless, Farrell & Flack LLP in 2003. Nickens, Keeton, Lawless, Farrell & Flack was acquired by McGuireWoods LLP on January 1, 2011. Brad left McGuireWoods in late 2011 to pursue a family law practice and to, among other things, represent clients in claims related to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill that occurred in April 2010.

In his legal career, Brad has represented individuals in a variety of family law matters. He has also represented large and small businesses and individuals in a broad variety of commercial disputes including securities, fraud, defamation, breach of contract, shareholder derivative claims, ERISA, and breach of fiduciary duty claims in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.

Brad has lived in Brazoria County for over 17 years with his wife Kristen, who owns Bohemian Hair Salon in Angleton. He enjoys his work, and when he isn’t serving the needs of his clients, he likes to relax and spend time with his family and his two huskies, Milo and Bruce.

Stephanie Martinez

Paralegal

Stephanie Martinez serves as Paralegal on the Bradley W. Hoover, P.C. Law Firm team. She assists our attorneys on cases, working diligently to make sure each client is taken care of.

She was born in Brazoria County and has lived here most of her life. She began her first secretarial job and legal career in 1999 working for Lawrence Packard in Clute. She moved to Mississippi and worked for Heidelberg Law Firm where she grew in knowledge about the legal process of corporate defense work. She started working first as a secretary, then as a legal assistant to the President and she progressed to office manager. As a legal assistant, she worked very closely with the attorneys and paralegals in preparation for depositions, mediations, and jury trials. Attended and participated in preparing clients for depositions and jury trials. Attended and helped counsel at jury trials.

When she moved back to Texas, she worked for Gregory L. Donnell in Angleton as a legal assistant where she learned the process of family law, probate, guardianships, and mediations. She learned how to prepare documents for the attorney to revise, approve and file with the Court. She also learned how to communicate well with Clients.

In August 2021, she began working for Bradley W. Hoover as a Paralegal where she continues to work in the legal field of family, civil, probate, and other matters (Wills and POAs). She has had experience during her tenure here in trials. She continues to prepare documents and keeps in good communication with Clients to keep their cases moving forward.

In Stephanie’s spare time, she enjoys walks in the park, and painting with pastels. She also has a fur baby named Gidget whom she loves dearly.

Megan Dennis

Legal Assistant

Megan Dennis is the Legal Assistant for the Bradley W. Hoover, P.C. team. Her primary job is to assist our paralegal and attorneys on cases and ensure our team has the support they need to provide the best experience and outcome for our clients.

Megan grew up in a small town outside of Corpus Christi, Texas then left after graduating high school when she joined the U.S. Army Reserves as a print journalist until she was honorably discharged in 2012.

She spent almost ten years living in the Rio Grande Valley until deciding to move to Brazoria County in the summer of 2016 with the hope of starting anew.

Over the years, Megan has worked in various industries including technology and sales. She is currently an active REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Ultimate in Lake Jackson, and has transitioned to our law office and has brought a fresh love of learning and service to our clients.

In her free time Megan loves crocheting, reading and spending time with her husband and their kids, even though they all tell her that five cats and a basset hound are enough, and no, she doesn’t need more animals.

Nicole Perdue

Of Counsel

Nicole Perdue is Of Counsel to Bradley W. Hoover, PC. Nicole focuses her practice on civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on employment and family law matters. With more than two decades of trial and appellate experience, she is known for her persuasive writing, negotiation skills, and clear and compelling oral advocacy and courtroom skills.

Nicole currently represents individuals and employers across the United States in a variety of employment matters. Her clients consider her a go-to employment problem-solver who provides pragmatic employment advice, counsel, and strategy regarding virtually every type of employment issue, including employee discipline, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, crisis management, compensation arrangements, strategic hiring and termination, and restrictive covenants. Her family law practice encompasses a broad array of family law matters, including complex custody and property disputes associated with divorce, as well as child possession and access matters, modifications of existing orders, enforcement actions, and pre- and post-marital property agreements.

Nicole is also routinely appointed as a guardian ad litem in Texas state and federal district courts. Serving in this capacity for over 20 years, she has represented the interests of minor plaintiffs in complex litigation from mediation through final resolution of the case. By carefully considering the issues and nuances of each case and thoughtfully weighing investment options for settlement funds, Nicole has earned a reputation as a skilled and tenacious advocate for minor children by the families she serves and in the legal community.

Nicole graduated with honors from Texas A&M University in 1992 and received her J.D., magna cum laude, from South Texas College of Law in 1996.
